Ingredients
- 500g green papaya, shredded (peel off the green skin)
- 50g Thai long bean , cut into pieces
- 6-7 red chillies (less or more depending on how spicy you want it)
- 1-2 tablespoons lime juice
- 3-4 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 tablespoon palm sugar
- 2 tablespoons dried shrimp
- 3 small tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
Method
- Add garlic and chillies to the mortar (krok). Pound them until the garlic and chillies are crushed.
- Add long bean, tomatoes , dried shrimp , then gently pound.
- Mix and pound the lime juice, fish sauce and palm sugar.
- Add papaya and pound on them gently , then add roasted peanuts. Pounding lightly until everything mixed well.
- Taste as your liking ,salty, sour , sweet or spicy.
* Serve with raw vegetables and sticky rice and roasted chicken.
